First off, I'm not sure if members of the community are aware that they can add a link to their social media accounts or not. You can. However, I think most community members would benefit from providing their LinkedIn account. I do not see that as anGlobal Setting For Defualt Sheet Stock Trim Values
Time after time, I see people ask if there is a quick and easy way to setup a new library and change the edge trim for sheet stock Materials. You have to do one at a time and if the boss says "change it" you cringe. Can we outfit the shipping library with a default from the material prompts tab that allows a user to change the sheet trim with one value? Of course, any customized sheets would not necessarily apply.How can i get an item number to auto populate in a plan section view?
When i draw a toe kick , the 3d drawing has the correct item number in the item symbol block. Then create a 2d plan & elevation view and they have the correct item number in the item symbol block. Then when i draw a 2d plan section view, the item symbol block appears but has 0.00 for the item number. Is there a way to link the item number to the item symbol block in the 2d plan section view so it auto populates with the correct item number, like the other drawings?Restore a Deleted Product
Is there a way to restore a product that is deleted from MV using the "Erased Product“ command? It is a custom product i worked from the product starter half way, then i accidentally erased it. ( the icon is kind of similar to the one for Redraw ehh...) Thanks!Express Tools

I need to change this so that, if the drawer slide is Grass Dynapro 16 or Grass Dynapro 19, 21,20). I can't quite get my head around the syntax to add the "or Grass Dynapro 19" to the formula. If anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful. Also, if there is a good reference for this syntax, I'd be grateful learning that too.Is it possible to scan product labels to confirm that items have made it on the delivery truck?

Wondering how people handle doing the cleanouts of the corners of so that a square piece fits into a cutout that is made to accept runners or nailers? Anyone use shelf pin sockets in their cabinets? I have a client that is insistent on them. I have no problem changing the size of the boring to the socket but what I need is a count of the sockets to order. Right now I only get a count of the pins (4 per shelf) but every hole will require a socket. Could I get a count of the linebores and use that? Thanks! Pete.How to save recovery file over room

In this Parameter we are supposed to be able to enter two different tool numbers separated by a pipe ,This function has never worked for us, we have submitted tickets and we were told by the microvellum rep that he has put at tracker in to get this fixed. This was nearly three months ago, we would like to use the Au Premium Library 20.1.2 as this uses the enhanced machine tokens. I made a new product called Modesty Panel from a Base Scribe Filler. I removed the unneeded prompts and changed the formulas that referenced them (or deleted those parts as not needed) and all works fine. I changed the product description in the cabinet prompts, but the work order summary still shows it as a Base Scribe Filler. How can I fix that?Need help understanding a simple formula
This formula is for the height of a base filler. I unchecked "knotch for toe kick" and added .5 for scribe to floor. =IF(Notch_For_Toe_Kick=1,Height-Toe_Kick_Height,IF(Filler_To_Floor=1,Height+Scribe_To_Floor,Height-Toe_Kick_Height)) The height is 28.5". If I read this formula right, the value should be 29, but it's not. It's 28 1/2". Attached video shows the design data sheet and the formula check. The formula check indicates the value is 29. I know that you can read a variable from many places in the main assembly G!, W!, from the subassembly L! The question I have is reading a value from S! and bring it to L! or another S! Since everything is a subassembly, how can I get a value from a specific subassembly? I have been asked to update the standard "Drawer Box List Report" that we generate for the shop with a few items to make it easier and provide more information. I am having some issues getting things to generate correctly or at all. I think these would also be good options to add into future reports so they are more robust and fully operational. Bay Locations Using the {Subassemblies.BayPosition} I am able to get the bay position number on the report. (71, 79, etc) While that is a start itPerfect Graining Accross Multiple Projects
When combining several projects together the doors get placed on top of each other. I think this has to do with the grain identifier number which uses the item number as a unique code. Once there are several projects selected, the item code is now being used across several products. One idea that I have is being able to add the project name in the Grain Identifier prompt or perhaps a unique MV project code.2D Part Layers
Can someone tell me where or how these layers are generated from in the 2D Parts editor? When you first add the machining, The machining is on the layer "ROUTE_Z0PXXXXXX". But once you save that part it adds the word RAMP at the end. I think this is normal but why is this? One of my PMs, has a problem that when he programs a part in MV it does not come over correctly in WoodWop. When we open the part in WoodWop, it's coming in with the "Tangential" approach. It needs to come over with the "Vertical"Multi Select Projects to Move / Delete / Change Status or Use Windows Explorer
In the current setup if you need to move, delete, or change status of several projects, it needs to be done one at a time. Using Database Management can help with deleting but only if you export it first. My suggestion is to have either a multi-select option or at least having ctrl / shift work to select multiple projects. Alternatively having a windows explorer location where creating new folders / modifying location / deleting projects would reflect in MV's Projects list.Setting up Multi pass for pocketing shaker doors
We are wanting to set our pocketing tool up as a multipass tool to mainly improve the quality of the surface when straight off the CNC. The idea is to do the main pocket and then have a second pass to remove 0.5mm to clean the board with a 5mm offset We thought we had the tool file correct but are unable to get it to assign the multipass tool when processing the doorsArdis grain errors
Has anyone had issues with Microvellum not sending Ardis all the grain information? I have found that grain info is missing on drawer sides. The front and back are fine but no grain direction on the sides so we have to find the sides and set the grain or we get cross grain drawer box sides. Got any ideas?LINE BORE

A designer wants a certain pull in various sizes throughout a kitchen. I am very new to MV and I am becoming stumped on adding these as a hardware item and it showing up in drawings and machining. I have copied other hardware pulls and changed the dimensions to the ones I need but I am not getting anything. As soon as I change the hardware to a stock MV pull it shows up fine. When creating new hardware, do you have to physically draw it in AUTOCAD and add 2d, 3d, and machine tokens? See images below,New layer color from spreasheet

In the previous version, we just had to add *150 to the layer name in the layer box to create a new layer with the desired color. Ex. We have recently switched our labels to a 4x1 Roll Feed. We want to be able to print the labels ahead of time for the shop, so when they are cutting on the saw, they can easily have the labels ready to put on the parts. However, it would make it easier for them to have the labels separated by CutList numbers (CPOUTName). So we would like to be able to print all the labels while printing 2 blank labels in between the CutList numbers so it is easier for them to find where the CutList starts and ends.Export Project Sharing Violation
We're currently running OEM v20.1.617, lib 46.2 mm. I regularly export & delete my library dev project from the production server so I can import the latest revisions from the Sandbox. The last three times I've done this my first Export & Delete attempt throws up an error window re: a Sharing Violation as if the project or drawing were in use. I had been in it about 30 minutes before but I not only closed the project, I loaded the Lib Dev database and was exporting the Sandbox version of the thatNext Page
