Can someone tell me where or how these layers are generated from in the 2D Parts editor?

When you first add the machining, The machining is on the layer "ROUTE_Z0PXXXXXX". But once you save that part it adds the word RAMP at the end. I think this is normal but why is this?

One of my PMs, has a problem that when he programs a part in MV it does not come over correctly in WoodWop. When we open the part in WoodWop, it's coming in with the "Tangential" approach. It needs to come over with the "Vertical" approach. Would this be a setting in MV that controls this?
