Adding Machining but is it classed as side machining?

As per the title, i'm trying to use some button fix brackets, its taken me a while to get right they were missing some files out the box which meant the machining that was in there wasn't quite right, but anyway i'm now at a point where id like it to drill the adjacent panel, but i dont know how to set that in the options, that is obvious anyway, and my good is it a ball ache changing the machining and not being able to update it there and then instead i have to close re draw see its wrong or not done what i was thinking and reopen it all back up in the hardware options etc. So anyone know a jump start? In the picture is 2 screw holes on the right, id like to add one on the adjacent panel on the left.
