This is how i always understood this, that if I went in and added a pocket route for a trash logo. Theres no knowledge or way the 2d elevation knows to draw this. So you also need to go and create a 2d draw token that follows the same formulas to get your locations. 

If theres a different way this works Id love to hear. I have just keep being asked and told there should be an easier way and thats not the right way to handle this. Just need to others to confirm or guide me to the easier way to accomplish this.
