Autocad 2026 setup
For anyone that's interested, I got AutoCAD 2026 to work with Microvellum. There is a huge improvement in speed when it comes to anything 3D, so I myself am sticking with it, and testing seems to work with both SQL Server and CE. Install instructions below.
Credit to Brent Wilkerson for doing most of the hard work.
- Paste the provided file to "C:\Program Files\Microvellum\Toolbox"
- Open Autocad and open a new drawing
- Type
APPLOADand press Enter - In the Load/Unload Applications dialog, click the Contents button under Startup Suite
- In the Startup Suite dialog, click Add
- Browse to your
LoadMicrovellum.lspfile and click Open - Click Close, then Close again
- Type loadmicrvellum and press Enter
And that's it, now the next time you reopen AutoCAD you'll be prompted as you'd have opened 2025.
