Autocad Usage When Microvellum Server is down

Would like to know if there is a way to use the AutoCad Feature when ,for instance, Your servers are down and you want to work on a cad file?

It seams as though Autocad will ONLY work if the server is connected and running.

I think there should be a wok around..
