Bay Width Calculator & Material Thickness Changes
Hey everyone,
Curious how others handle interior bay division locations in multi-bay cabinets when sheet material thickness is calibrated after design right before processing.
We model products using nominal panel sizes (0.75''). When the shop measures actual stock on the floor right before cut (0.70'') and we update the material file, the Bay Calculator recalculates and holds clear inside widths. In multi-bay cabinets, this moves our division centerlines, throwing off door reveals and bought out drawer box sizes.
Are we overlooking something, or is there a built-in way to hold the division centerline instead of inside opening width?
Appreciate any insights!
Thanks,
Joe
