Best Practices for Mistakes?
I don't know if it's just because I'm new to, not just Microvellum, but drafting altogether, but I make a LOT of mistakes. Every other computer program I have ever used has Undo (at east enough undos to get you out of a bind). But since Undo doesn't seem to be MV's number 1 concern, there has GOT to be a way to fix mistakes along the way - especially when you're building long complicated products.
In SOME areas you have the option to Reset fields/formulas but in a lot of places, you're just stuck. I have tried closing the program down before it autosaves, but a lot of times I can't beat it.
Today, in Draw Part in 2D I routed the inverse of what I wanted and when I went to redo the route somehow I just deleted the entire panel and now its gone from Part Properties. How does everyone else go about these kinds of mistakes? I need that panel back just as it was with all the machining where it was. Recreating the part from scratch is arduous and opens me up to forgetting all of its nuances.
Thanks
