When editing cabinets in part properties, but whilst looking at the nesting to see what to edit, if you "save close and redraw" whilst the nesting tab is the one open, it will place a drawing of the cabinet in the nest, and not redraw it on the main drawing. You then have to "redraw from database" to bring it back in the drawing.
