Cabinet shelf standards

I noticed that the KV shelf standards/pilasters come in certain lengths. Often times I have an upper cabinet that is less than 12" in height so it causes an error and then I have to go into the product list and use the product prompts there since it only shows up in the product viewer and won't actually draw. But on my base cabinets it works fine because its tall enough. The distance from top or bottom in the global setting is fine, but I guess there isn't an option to have this different on the upper cabinets so when I mistakenly forget to take off the shelves or want a shelf on the short upper cabinets it doesn't draw the cabinet so I have to go back into product list and do that whole thing.

The other thing I noticed is that in my global I have the "use shelf standards" checked but when I go into product prompts after drawing a cabinet, the "continuous shelf holes" button is checked. VERY CONFUSING. I know I can edit this and make it my own but I would think out of the box this should have been fixed. Also want the section drawing to look more like a shelf standard with the slots than just a rectangle. I know there is hardware in the CCL libraries for this but fail to find it in the foundation library and want it to draw in the foundation on my sections.

Which leads me to my next thought...we as millworkers want our drawings to have more detail than architectural drawings. I know of some companies doing drawings for the other trades in residential because they are so detailed. I don't want MV to be bogged down, but I would like to see more detail on the blocks and drawings.... for instance the wire pulls. They aren't really drawn correctly from MV. The section block should have a radius on the top and bottom.
