Cabinet Width - Over all Dimension vs. Internal Dimension
Hello Microvellum world!
At our shop we're adding some buyout accessories that have set
widths, for example, a pull-out Pant Rack. These racks come in set widths of 18”
24” or 30”
So it’s crucial that the cabinet’s ID (internal dimension) matches
one of those widths.
We use 3/4” thick material, the way (our) Microvellum is set
up is to achieve the cabinet’s overall width; for example: using perfect 3/4”
thick sheet goods a 25-1/2” wide cabinet will have a perfect 24” internal width.
But if the material comes in with a thickess shorter (or bigger) than a perfect
3/4”, microvellum “preserves” the overall width (25-1/2”) and adjusts the
internal dimension to achieve that width.
Is there a way to set up microvellum to “preserve” the
internal dimension instead of overall dimension?
Any input is greatly appreciated!
