Can Anyone Explain MV's Reasoning for Prompt Paths?

As a fairly new user, one thing I'm still having a hard time with is that there are multiple menus to make changes to just about any single Part. Why isn't there a central location to effect all aspects of a part? For example, when I'm working on a drawer I'm going to want to adjust the depth and height of the drawer box, the drawer front's length, height, material, reveals or overhangs, the number of drawers in a bay, it's hardware, and its positioning within the bay. As it is now, these attributes are spread across two different branches of the Subassemblies Prompt OR accessing subassemblies by Right Clicking in empty space in the general Product Prompt and then the one that took me the longest to find, is adjusting the drawer's position in the bay can only be done in Library Designer. Now, I can understand that in the flow of coding in the software and the fact that all these parts are parametric and their formulas are driven by all kinds of stuff outside of themselves - but can't the User Interface at least have a "Shortcut" button leading to all these attributes? I would love to open ONE Product Prompt and go to the Drawers tab and be able to control EVERYTHING about the drawer right there.
