Change Configuration Without Closing Program
There is a post about this in
Questions and another in
Ideas but I think this should potentially be categorized as a problem...
Per recommendations by our Microvellum trainer we have decided to keep projects in the configuration they got started in then when we update our library we create a new configuration and all new jobs go in that config.. We were told this should help minimize issues of old products in new library builds if we wanted to be able to regularly take advantage of updates, maybe there's a better way to manage this though, open to suggestions?
This requires us to jump from one config. to another quite a bit and it is quite frustrating to have to close Microvellum completely each time this is needed, I understand if we had to close dwg. tabs and then go back to the splash screen and log back in and select configuration so it can load but closing the program doesn't make a ton of sense to me...
