Component Cabinet Library vs Foundation Library Positives and Negatives

Looking for some feedback on the positives and negatives when changing from the component cabinet library to the foundation library.  One of my main concerns is that in the foundation library the carcass parts are no longer in a subassembly and are just loose parts in the products themselves.  What was the main reason for switching to this logic?  If a change needs to be made to all the front stretchers or backs on a specific project in all base cabinets, how would one go about this if these parts are no longer in a sub-assembly?

For those of you that made this switch, what are some positives and negatives between these two library types?
