Creating a door type

So we are seeing an increase in larger doors, we use either aluminum or paper honey comb to keep weight down and stability high. We create a style and rail with the honey comb panel for the core and skin it with MDF xband before we post veneer or lam. The bench guys then assemble and they go back up on the robot for final machining. I know how i am going to go about creating the product but is it just as easy as making a subassembly and adding it to the door type list?
