Creating New Mach Instructions and GCode from Drawing Problem
We have been using scrap for small or make up part nests. Sometimes we have to manually configure the nested parts in the composite drawing to get grain matching or just fit the needed parts on a specific piece of scrap. Since we have an auto labeler we cannot us the "Update Machining Instructions and GCode from drawing" tool. We have to use the "Create New Machining Instructions and GCode from drawing" tool.
Twice I have done this and the continuous/nested route does not appear. Only single part routing appears. The problem with the single part routing is the compensation is incorrect. It is on the line compensation instead of right compensation. We don't know why the single part routing is on the line instead of right (which creates undersized parts and collisions). Nor can we figure out why this isn't creating a new nested/continuous route. Any thoughts or ideas on how we can fix both the single part routing and the continuous routing to ensure this doesn't occur again?
UPDATE: We just did this on my colleague's machine and he had no trouble creating the continuous/nested route. To my knowledge we have the same build/version of MV, so I'm thinking that there must be a setting checked or unchecked somewhere on my machine that affects this when manually moving parts in a composite drawing and then updating the GCode and Machining instructions.
