Has anyone or anyone made a cut list report for solid stock / hardwood.

I know that the Face Frame kind of does this. And the Solid Stock Report(s) give you Linear Footage, Board Feet and Square Feet by solid stock type and width - Which is good for running trim. But sometimes we also would like an actual cut list of all the parts with the report.

The next best thing would having it figure out from the cut list ... how many out of 8' and/or 10' sticks are required from the pieces.

Right now when this comes up - At the work order level we filter by material and Export the grid out as CSV/XLS file to get a cutlist. Fuzzy logic by someone to say from that how many 8' sticks knowing to 1, 3 to 4 pieces by stick (educated guess)

Has anyone tackled this???
