Problem: All 2D products, whether drawn in elevation, section, or plan have dimension lines set to a specific layer in the globals and in the options under CAD. I understand that the 'CAD Options' dimension layer controls all dimensions drawn. There are also Global settings for default dimension layers for elevation, section, and plan.

These all are set to have the same layer. Let's call that layer '2D_Dim'. Lucky for me, the layer is native to the MV template. When drawing any plan, elevation, or section, all of the dimensions come in on a newly created layer called 2D_2D_Dim........Whyyyyyyyyyyy???? 

I have looked at globals, internal CAD settings, prompts, drawing tokens, ect. and everything shows me the same thing. That the dimension layer that is supposed to be used is definitely being referenced but not drawn. BricsCAD or MV are creating a new layer to put product dimensions on. Fun thing, I even changed all default dim layers to be on 'Glass'. Guess what? It just creates '2D_Glass' and puts all dims on that newly created layer.
