Display Scaling for High Resolution (4K) Laptop Monitor
I recently obtained a new laptop that has a 15.6" UHD (3840 x 2160) display. I am having trouble getting Microvellum Toolbox to display correctly with Windows 10 High-DPI scaling. The Windows 10 recommended scaling setting is 250%, which is ridiculous because everything ends up so large, there is hardly any screen real estate. I have tried setting the scaling to various settings, but the only two that seem manageable are 175% and 200%. However, at those settings, Microvellum Toolbox is a bit of a mess. The AutoCAD OEM windows, toolbars, icons, and text are all fine. But, the Microvellum Toolbox pallet is not scaling well, the icons are super tiny, popup windows for toolbox are huge, but the text and tabs are tiny, and windows like 'About Microvellum' from the Help dropdown are unusable.
Does anyone know how to get Microvellum to work properly on a High-DPI display such as a 4K laptop?
See the attached images for examples. Note also that most windows like the 'About Microvellum' window cannot be resized at all. Currently I am running Toolbox OEM 2020 Build 20.1.526.641.
