Not sure if anyone has had this issue ... or know they even have the issue.
Drilling for DIVISION dowels in CCL was from the LEFT side (~3/8") for drillings and now in FL its from the RIGHT side. Thus drilling and doweling INCORRECTLY at the machine/shop floor.
We mainly only realized this now because we had THICK (1" and 1-1/2") Divisions on a project that they could not get to work because of this. So to get the parts out of machining I just manually adjusted the progs at the machine just to get it it done in a pinch.
Now ... the MACHINE POINT is the issue and I did not know what else this will effect! With future changes / updates. Which it will with Library Updates. Or needing to change the POST/Processing Station.
The MACHINE POINT in CCL is either 8 or 1 and in FL it's either 8 or 2M - Depending on the Global for Top or Bottom option. This is making the machine WRONG for us at the drill/dowel machine.
So via the support ticket was instructed just to just change the logic to flip the machining BACK to how it was done in CCL. Not sure if I should make a Global Variable to control this option or not, probably just going to change the subs. So going to make the change(s) via Database Explorer (or Library Designer) for the (4) sub assemblies: Divisions, Divisions w/Adj Shelves, Divisions w/Fixed and Horz Splitter
So change in FL the Machine Point:
=IF(Machine_Origin="Top",8,"2M")
to
=IF(Machine_Origin="Top",8,"1")
Chime in if there is a better solution .. or have run into this already!
