Drawing Tokens - does it have to [END]?

According to the Drawing Tokens section of the Knowledge Base you need to add [END] at the end of the list. Is there a reason for this? None of our products have this.  Is something going on during the processing of drawing the Elevation/Section/Etc. that would be sped up if this is added?
