dynamic IP causing activation issues

issue:
constantly being prompted to enter serial / password.  Every time i do it uses another activation until all activations for our company are used up and then it will not allow me to access microvellum.  

variables that i think effect it:

dynamic IP address... 
      i work remotely at a coworking space where i use a wifi connection with a dynamic ip address. activation is tied to IP address?  sounds like a crummy plan to me.... means using your laptop while traveling is not really an option.   Even more of a problem when your desktop dosen't work....
I don't control the network so it would be difficult to assign a static IP.  

any thoughts? workarounds?
