When EDD opens a subassembly that was selected in the 3D MV Product, it doesn't select the correct subassembly in the list above.  This can mislead and or cause errror and confusion.  It opens the sub you have selected but has selected above whatever was the last subassembly you might have clicked on when in parts list prior.  I have mentioned this before.  If its going to try and help you to open straight to the subassembly it should have the correct one selected in the list above as well.  I do know about bypassing the opening of the sub by selecting the item number, I just think the feature to open straight to the sub is a good shortcut but incomplete that it doesn't open the correct sub in parent list of subs.
