How do you set the edge banding on the front edges of cabinet tops, bottoms, sides and shelves to match an exterior edge banding color?

We edge band our boxes with the same color as the interior material color except the front edges which most times are the color of the exterior finish.

Right now I manually update each product with Part Properties, not efficient.

The only thing I can think of is to add a bunch of new EB material pointers and edit the library formulas with Library designer. I'm concerned that this will get stomped on with a Library update.

Any opinions?
