Edgeband Part Size Adjustment won't work with premill setting: "Edgeband Thickness"

Curious if there is a way to get the Part Size Adjustment setting to oversize parts when you have your premill settings set to "Edgeband Thickness" in the processing station setup? The ol' negative banding hack won't work since the thickness value is essentially ignored.
For context, as parts run through our edge bander they have the edgebanding thickness milled off, so we need parts cut out at their true finished dimension. However, we'd like to add scribe to some edges using a faux banding assignment -- unfortunately the "Part Size Adjustment" setting doesn't seem to do anything.
