Edit Design Data Extra Color for manual edits by adding character to start of cell
Hi,
I often have to process drawings made by collegues.
They often make small changes in the edit design data, but it's not always easy to track these down.
I had an idea for the condintional formatting:
if the data of the cell starts with " = ...." it becomes red
what if there is a possibility for example to add a sign before the "=" at the very start, for example: _=
when the software has to process data stored in the cell, this can be trimmed/replaced.
Formatting this cell, one could make the text appear bold and some other color. This would then be like placing little flags or highlighters in microvellum workbooks.
