Editing Project Level Materials/CutParts File
Just curious, does anyone know why Microvellum doesn't allow us to add or edit materials at the project level? Or is there something I'm missing?
When you open the project level CutPart file editor, the options to add or edit sheet stock or hardware is always
greyed out.
All the data for it lives in the project level CutParts spreadsheet, right? If that's true, I'm just curious why Microvellum restricts it, when all other project level components can be modified freely. I guess you could edit the spreadsheet directly, but that seems difficult and it seems like the GUI editor adds some type of link ID on the materials that I'm not sure would even be possible to do manually.
It would be a nicer, easier way to test changes to the Library template, rather than needing to make changes to the template or copying the template and then syncing with the project with every change when testing.
