Hey all, our group does a lot of custom work doing 3D solid modeling and then using the Solid Model Analyzer to create Microvellum Products. We use the Product Detail Report Style 3 to print out isometrics of the product from the Flatshot token that the SMA puts into the product for smaller products, but the larger more complicated ones this doesnt work.

It doesnt work because it gets too small for our builders to read. So we find ourselves creating autocad assembly sheets. We use the MVExplodeProduct Command to get a flatshot of the product in that type of view. What we are trying to do is to automatically get part descriptions or row id numbers onto this view and then create a paperspace layout as a custom assembly sheet.

What are others doing to solve this?

Attached is a bit of an example of our final assembly sheet, but this one we manually put the part numbers on there and actually manually overwrote the actual row id numbers from the parts list where the parts were duplicate.

We dont need to do that step, its fine that duplicates have a unique row id.
