Wondering if any knows if the post processor can trigger an external exe file at all?

We use an external program called Cobus for single part parametric programs and when it runs the post, i can make it trigger an external exe file (sending in a few environmental arguments as well like, file location, file name, machine name etc etc) I have created to do some behind the scenes things i need done after the program is written.

This is functionality that I would also like to utilise out of Microvellum for one of our posts in particular to easily rearrange some G-Code and put a pause in the middle of the program for offcut removal for our compact laminate that we have to manually do every single time. I have my own custom program that takes all the G-Code in the folder and converts it for me already but it involves extra steps that I would like to remove and have it trigger automatically if at all possible.

If not possible, please consider this a feature request although i'm sure it would be a niche feature, but handy nonetheless for those who know how to utilise it
