Face 5 or Face 6 Associative Machining Between Two Panels

Is there a way to have associative boring or routing for one panel face 5/6 also go into an adjacent parts face 5 or face 6? Thinking of using a dowel to align two panels that sit face 5 to face 5 on each other.
