Here at Master Millwork we have several different CNC machines - 4 CNC routers and 1 beam saw to be exact. For our custom stuff we are primarily using 2 of the CNCs and the beam saw.

When assigning Processing Stations to parts we have to look at part sizes (and thicknesses) because one CNC is a 4 x 8 bed, and the other is a 5 x 12 bed. Obviously, wider/longer parts get assigned to the larger machine. For thick parts we use different tooling which requires increased part spacing. In each case, these are manual processes, and like we all know, when processes are manual the risk for being missed (or incorrectly assigned) increases.

It'd be great to have additional auto assign rules based on part sizes and thicknesses to help further "streamline the way you work."
