FEATURE REQUEST: Allow Smart Layers to be Assigned to Solids

When modeling things out that can't easily be built with the SMT builders, I find it beneficial to set up Smart Layers for part naming and material assignments and manually assign them to parts I'm modeling.

However, this process is not very fast because you cannot directly assign Smart Layers to 3D solids. Currently, you can only apply Smart Layers to specific 2D entities (polylines, etc.).

To manually assign these to 3D solids can be done by selecting the objects then changing the layer from the Layers dropdown, or by assigning it first to a polyline and then using MATCHPROPERTIES to apply it to my solids. Either option wastes time and is not efficient.

I propose allowing 3D solids to be selected straight from the Smart Layers interface - double-click the layer, click on the objects (2D or 3D). Obviously, assigning them to solids means the SMT builders can't really work with them as they can 2D objects - a warning message would probably be necessary: "You are applying this Smart Layer to a 3D object. 3D objects cannot be used within the {builder}, and must be analyzed using the Solid Model Analyzer" (or something similar).

This would help make truly custom products faster by eliminating a lot of redundant steps.
