I know, I know, I know... this isn't a big deal or anything that should jump to the top of any road map. It's mainly just an annoyance I have with terminology.
I prefer "Overdrive Pro" instead of "Product List."
One, it sounds a lot cooler.
Two, "Product List" sounds too vague and less descriptive about what you can do (not that "Overdrive Pro" really makes a strong point here, but it does in my final point).
Three, there are already too many "Product" interfaces - Product Prompts, Product Viewer, Product List, and common slang for Part Properties... "Product Properties".
I can't tell you how many times I've done training, or even when I managed the engineering department at my previous company, that I would say "Open the Product List" and most of the time they'd open the Product Viewer - it is more of a PRODUCT LIST than a PRODUCT VIEWER anyway... "Viewer" makes me think I'll be able to see certain aspects of a product.
Overdrive Pro is a term that can't get confused... If I say, "Open Overdrive Pro," you know exactly what I'm refering to. Plus there's so much more you can do than the name "Product List" implies.
I know I'm probably just belly-aching here, but it's been a peeve of mine for a long time. Haha!
I hope I'm not the only person that this is driving crazy.
