Our engineering team does a lot of custom products where we use SMA. We have determined with Microvellum support that the way vertical parts come in through SMA is random...I.E. the part orientation good side up switching facing back or forward, Machine point location changes location based on how part rotates when importing through SMA.

I think it would be great if there was a way to pre-determine a machine point location on each individual part in the smart layers prior to producing (such as bottom back left).

We produce a lot of custom walls where we have cutouts for removable panels and if we don't go through in Part properties prior to producing them the orientation gets messed up and parts get ran in the mirrored direction.
