Feature Request - Lock Axis Control
By all means if there is something like this - or it's already been requested, let me know. But one of my team's biggest frustrations is moving an object in, say, the Y axis and then switching views and realizing it has moved 20 feet back in the Z axis. I understand why this happens: when you're selecting a point to move the object, there's always a stack of nodes "under" that point for any given axis and MV doesn't know which one you want.
Idea: A button that will lock all controls into the current view (obviously only when you in a straight on Plan, Elevation or End View). In this way I can carefully and precisely move and object in one view, then move to the next and position it without disturbing the first move and finally fix it in the the 3rd plane.
