Generally, keeping things together that belong together and removing things that don't makes operating MV much more streamlined, in my opinion.  For instance, I loved when the Machine Tokens changed so that all tokens could fit on the Cut Parts tab on the same row as the part they associated with.  I wish that the Hardware (H!) file worked like that, with all hardware machine tokens on the same row as the hardware part itself.  It would make maintenance much easier.
