Feature Request: Option to Disable Associative Hardware Drawings to Improve Performance
Overview:
User feedback consistently identifies slow draw time speed as one of the most significant drawbacks of Microvellum. Internal time studies on the Foundation Library confirm that hardware blocks included in 3D product drawings have the greatest negative impact on performance—far more than formulas or other workbook aspects.
Proposed Need:
Toolbox requires a mechanism to prevent specific hardware blocks from being included in 3D drawings when using associative hardware, while still maintaining their machining logic. This would give the library the flexibility to provide user-level control over which hardware items include 3D graphics and which do not.
