We have an issue when cutting solid surface small parts that tends to be solved if we run a perimeter cut first just slightly larger than the part size. I know in our tool file we get the option when doing a multi-pass tool that you can offset the first cut from the second. This would be a very helpful feature to have it only do this to small parts. The issue we run into is that the edge of the solid surface is running at two different chip loads when the first pass is taking off the majority and the second pass is finishing the onion skin you can visibly see tool chatter on the first pass but the onion skin pass at the bottom is clean. 

I believe adding in the feature to allow the offset cut to happen at the small part threshold under the processing center options would resolve this issue.
