Formula Driven Spec Group

Hey all,

I have been using formula driven materials since about 2017, and over the years have developed a method and philosophy so to speak on how to implement them into spec groups that simplify the workflow of spec groups setup, lower the barrier of entry and complexity for the average user, and speed up the overall process of material management.

About 2 years ago, I helped a client implement the foundation library, and built a customized spec groups for them based on the out of the box foundation library formula mateerials, and just added some logic to make it easier for them and all controlled through the Wizard.

Fast forward two years and theyve been using it, and i spent some time recently making some further improvements. Additionally I've received a ton of interest and feedback from my videos on youtube, and have decided to start building a refreshed universal spec group in my free time, and sharing the results here to get feedback, ideas and hopefully help others make the jump to leveraging FDMs.

Below is a quick runthrough of the framework I have so far for materials, with some improvements that I think would be helpful to most users.

I would appreciate any questions, feedback, critiques or ideas!
Ultimately hoping to just encourage a healthy discussion about how powerful they can be.
