Formulated Hardware

Hello,
I'm trying to add handle hardware that changes size according to Cabinet Width.  The formula so far is =IF(L!Width>450,"Enko_110_320mm.dwg","Enko_110_224mm.dwg" in the Hardware association. It changes the hardware in the material file depending on what cabinet I've been in last but doesn't change each cabinet automatically.
Has anyone achieved this or tried?
