Freelance Drafter/MV engineer

I have seen a lot of fellow drafters/engineers advertise their selves here on the community page and I was wondering how do you go about that? 

I was thinking of doing it my self as a side job and earn some extra income. Any advise, wisdom or knowledge would be highly appreciated! thanks.
