French cleats on CNC

Has anyone been able to solve cutting french cleat nailers on your CNC?

I've done all the things and its still not working....We have a V bit on our CNC that we regularly use, the check boxes are checked for "Use French Cleat Style Nailers" and "Use Top Nailer" for the carcass. The 3D representation shows a mitered cut.

The one thing that I see is in the machining in part properties they show a mitered cut but the tooling is still showing our default tool #, which is not the v bit tool #.  And yes, the correct tool # is used for the "miter options" in the spec group.

Any ideas?  I'm fresh out...
