Have you started planning for re-habitation of your office/work areas post lock-down?
With the lock-down restrictions easing here in Oregon and across the nation, it's been exciting to work on the plan to move back into Microvellum HQ. With any luck, it'll happen next week! We're loosely modeling our plan after Trump's plan and we took a few minutes to sketch out the revised layout for the office. - Phase I – Volunteers may return to the office, telecommuting is supported.
- Phase II – All remaining workers return to the office unless one is uncomfortable or has a vulnerable person to take care of where telecommuting is better.
- Phase III – No restrictions, all return to the office for work.
In advance of the reopening, we will be reorganizing our office space slightly to help with social distancing (e.g. 1 person per 1 office) and have prepared a COVID Safety Policy that addresses hygiene practices and PPE supply procedures. We have a web-based, daily survey to help monitor safety and traceability in case one gets sick.
Here are the questions we are asking on the web form. Yes, responses get automatically emailed to their manager for further questioning and maybe to be sent home.
Are you working remotely, not a client site? - if yes, they can skip the rest of the survey.
- Daily Tracing Log - who did you interact with yesterday?
- Daily “Health” Check-in Online
- Are you feeling Ill?
- Do you have a fever?
- Do you have anybody aches?
- Are you experiencing any coughing or
respiratory difficulty?
- Is anyone in your Home experiencing any of the
above symptoms?
- Are your symptoms from seasonal allergies?
This is a big deal for a bunch of computer nerds like us! Good luck with your re-opening too!
PS - the fish are on a strict social distancing policy till late August in case you're wondering.
What changes are you making in your offices/work environments?
