Having GROOVE token only for machining

Has anyone figured out how to set up a saw so that the machining doesn't show-up in the model? We use aggregated to cut V-grooves on our flat bed router, I have them setup as saws since they're always in a strait line and usually are run after the nest. The problem is that there is no way that I can figure out to not have this machining added to the model. If we could add a profile to a saw tool that would be great but as it stands if the V-groove tool is 30mm wide that gets plowed out of the model.
Any ideas or work arounds are welcome :), thx
