Hinge Plates and Vlookup tables
How do you know which hinge plate you are using for a hinge?
Here are my equations:
=VLOOKUP(Hinge_Overlay_Left_Calc,LookUpTableHingePlates,16,TRUE)+(17.5/Unit_Divisor)
=VLOOKUP(Hinge_Overlay_Left_Calc,LookUpTableHingePlates,12,TRUE)
The first equation get the value in column 16 from the hinge plate name in column 12 from the second equation. All the hinge plate names in column 12 are all the same. The values in column 16 vary. I want to know is there a way I can say "it that value" without guessing?
