How are people handling multiple "custom" pulls on a project or room?
I should start off with the fact that we are currently still
running the CCL 50.3 library.
Being in the residential sector we have many jobs that
have 8+ pulls per room or job. We have one now where we have 10+ pulls in
only 3 different rooms.
For us, in residential almost all the pulls would be custom
or unique to the job in question so building every pull into the library
doesn't really make sense. Because of this I can't justify the time to
have the pulls in the dropdown list ready to go and to be applied.
- How are people handling this amount of custom pulls?
- Are you creating multiple Custom_Pull_1 type hardware in the
globals and then updating the hardware drop down list to match?
- How are you treating and handling the elevation drawings etc.
to make sure that you at least have a reasonable drawing?
- I would also like to have the names and part number come out correct for reports. So, I am sure I will need to do some setup.
