Why does Microvellum make life so complicated?

I want to turn of the wall dimension so I go to "wall setup" and uncheck the box. But it doesn't work?! Why?  Asking AI leads to some system prompt "elvnodim" and when typed in doesn't exist. 

I know I can turn of the dimension layer and call it a day but curious about the logic of MV.  It would seem logical to put ALL related wall setting in the "wall setup" yet setting are scattered somewhere else deep in some cryptic excel sheet.  Please, someone, enlighten me.
