Does anyone have or use an Interior Cabinet Tray Dividers that are cut parts and are routed in as well as removable for sorting baking trays inside a cabinet? We are currently using a Component Library, but I know we would do the same in the future with the Foundations as well.
My thought and plan are to possibly use the "Fixed Shelves with Dividers" subassembly as a starting point.
The challenges:
1. The subassembly is figured to run full height but in our residential Face Frame cabinets we don't have a full top in the base cabinets. So, I would need to be able to add and turn one on.
2. This type of subassembly needs reference the Opening Height of the cabinet or bay that it is in. The "top" though should be up above the Opening Height in our case by 1/8". They don't like to do it flush on the Face Frames and any taller you run the risk of not being able to remove the vertical dividers.
3. Vertical divider bottom groove can be shallow. The top groove then needs to be double deep + a clearance amount.
4. These will be used in Base / Tall / Upper Cabinets as well as Product Starter / Multi-Bay Master Cabinets. We "gang build" most of our residential kitchen cabinets.
The existing "Fixed Shelves with Dividers" subassembly can work for frameless cabinets since it doesn't need the extra top and changing the machining depth is quick and could be accomplished with a single check box to reference.
Ideally, I would like to just update the existing "Fixed Shelves with Dividers" but if we need to, I will make a new subassembly. If any anyone is willing to share or help point me in the right direction that would be great.
These are similar but we route ours in instead of having extra hardware or pieces.
