Label IDs

We are currently experiencing an issue with the IPP in BSB generating duplicate part ID numbers in column 13 of the .pnx file and column 12 of the .csv file.

For example:

  • Sheet 1 contains part numbers 1, 2, 3, etc.

  • Sheet 2 again starts with part numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

Because of this repetition, the first label recorded for part #1 is being applied to every instance of part #1 across all sheets, and the same issue occurs with the other repeated part numbers.

In contrast, our OEM IPP uses non-sequential, non-repeating (“randomized”) part numbering, which has worked correctly for years without any errors.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and is there a recommended solution to prevent the duplicate part numbering?
