Millwork Designer & Drafter

Escobedo Group is a multi-faceted general contracting company, made up of a high-energy team of creative professionals focused on precision & innovation within multiple divisions of design, stone, steel and millwork fabrication. We are vertically integrated, performing about 90% of our general contracting work in-house. The Position

You will be designing and drafting high-end, custom residential millwork and cabinetry (with a focus on producing detailed construction documentation), while coordinating with our production team and millwork division manager.

Responsibilities include:

·         Creating design and shop drawings using AutoCAD, Microvellum and Inventor.

·         Communicating directly with our millwork division manager and production team.

·         Creating and managing submittal drawings using AutoCAD, Microvellum and Inventor.

Qualifications:

·         A degree or an associate degree in CAD drafting or extensive experience in the woodworking industry.

·         Experience using AutoCAD for both 2D and 3D drawings.

·         Excellent communication skills and strong attention to details.

·         High-end, custom millwork drafting experience is required.

·         Microvellum experience and Autodesk Inventor experience preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements:

·         Understanding of casework construction and fabrication techniques.

·         Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

·         Strong math and problem-solving skills.

·         Microsoft Office (Excel, Work and Outlook) experience required

·         RouterCIM or CNC programming experience a plus
